For staff

Staff and students speak about their experiences of lockdown.

Many staff across the University are currently working from home, while some employees are still travelling into University buildings for essential work that can only be conducted on site.

A series of videos have featured staff and students to showcase how everyone is adapting to the challenges of working from home within the restrictions of social distancing. Previous videos can be explored via the links below.

In the seventh, and final, video in this series, staff and students give their take on how they are coping with the challenges and restrictions of lockdown and how they are managing to work from home. In particular, staff highlight the importance of looking after mental health and wellbeing, and the video also features those who are working to keep the heart of the University safe for when employees and students return.

The video below features the following employees and students:

  • Joanna Chamberlain, Head of Environment and Energy
  • Paul Anderson, Lottie Collis and Andy Ward, part of the gardening team at Newnham College
  • Darius Sultani, MPhil in Technology Policy
