Expressions of interest in, and nominations for, the position of Acting Vice-Chancellor are invited.
The Council wishes to appoint a member of the Regent House to serve as Acting Vice-Chancellor from 1 October 2022. The appointment will be for six months in the first instance, with the possibility of an extension for up to a further six months.
A Notice has been published in the Reporter which invites expressions of interest in, and nominations for, the position of Acting Vice-Chancellor. The Notice sets out the key areas which the Council has agreed that the Acting Vice-Chancellor should focus on, together with the attributes and experience that it is seeking in the successful candidate.
Nominations for potential candidates and/or expressions of interest from individuals should be sent to Gaenor Bagley, Chair of the Nominating Committee, via the Council Secretariat (council@admin.cam.ac.uk) by 18 March 2022. The Council expects to make the appointment at its meeting on 23 May 2022.
