For staff

The University and UCU will be holding an open meeting for staff who are members of USS on Wednesday 10 October at the Babbage Lecture Theatre in the David Attenborough Building, New Museums Site. The meeting starts at 14:15 and will finish by 15:45 at the latest. All USS members, as well as those who are eligible to be members, in the University, Colleges and Cambridge Assessment are invited.

The open meeting will be an opportunity for staff to get an update on the current national situation and especially on the recommendations of the Joint Expert Panel, which published its report earlier this month. Staff will be able to ask questions and hear discussion on the implications of the JEP’s recommendations.

Panellists taking part are Professor Richard Farndale, UCU pensions representative at the University, and Anthony Odgers, the University’s Chief Financial Officer.

To sign up to the event, click on the Eventbrite link below or paste it into your web browser. The theatre has a capacity of 450; if that limit is reached, staff will be put on a waiting list and notified if a place becomes available. The meeting will be recorded and made available to staff who are not able to attend.
