Background and objective:

Following the initiation of a grace proposing that the University cuts off all ties with fossil fuel companies, a seminar series has been organised to give examples of:

• How Cambridge researchers are working towards the energy transition

• How Cambridge University works with the energy industry

Academic speakers have been selected to represent the breadth of Cambridge researchers who work with the energy industry. This presents an opportunity to understand how and why researchers collaborate with energy companies, to pose questions directly to the researchers, and to discuss the University’s stand on industry engagement.
