For staff

The Wellbeing Team at UIS highlighted the importance of staff mental health on #TimetoTalk Day 2021.

The Wellbeing Team at University Information Services (UIS) has created a short video showcasing staff talking about their lockdown experiences of mental health. The team discuss their wellbeing challenges in lockdown and how they try to cope, whether it be decluttering the house, getting some fresh air, volunteering, redecorating, meditation or crafting. Though everyone featured has a different way of looking after their mental health, the main message is that small actions can help and it is not unusual for staff to be experiencing difficulties.
