Results show overall drop in energy consumption across the University.

The results are in with Downing Site and New Museums Site (combined electricity meter) using the most energy, Fenner's Cricket School the least and the university as a whole using 4,228 kWh (1.38%) less energy on Monday than the same time last week. The greatest percentage fall in energy use was by Fenner's Cricket School. Click here for the full results, broken down by building.
Joanna Chamberlain, Head of Environment and Energy, said: “The table is interesting but the raw figures tell only part of the story. While some buildings use a lot of energy this might be because they are research-intensive whereas other buildings are mainly administrative in their function and can use much less energy.
“The real figure to look out for is the percentage change which will show how much they have cut their energy use. The early signs are that institutions and individuals are making a positive effort.”
