The Hermes email migration project is underway in UIS.
University Information Servies (UIS) have now finished scoping the Hermes migration project, and have determined that there are 25,745 staff accounts, 7,690 student accounts and 2,780 shared accounts. They have changed all email addresses in UIS mailing lists from @hermes to @cam. Hermes accounts that had a blanket redirect have had that redirect propagated to their @cam email address, which a user can manage via Lookup.
The UIS project team are now starting initial pilot migrations of Departments using a new tool. These will help UIS to generate the documentation to support Computer Officers.
