Employees of the University and the senior leadership team are showcased in video messages to show how they are adpating to and coping with the effects of working from home.

In the Vice-Chancellor's message to staff and students on 27 March 2020, a short video was shared to showcase members of the senior leadership team and academics with their tips and experiences of working from home during the coronavirus outbreak.

The first video includes messages from the following:

  • Professor Stephen J Toope, Vice-Chancellor of the University
  • Professor Andy Neely, Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Enterprise and Business Relations
  • Dr Anne-Laura van Harmelen, Department of Psychiatry (pictured above)
  • Professor Eilis Ferran, Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Institutional and International Relations
  • Professor David Cardwell, Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Strategy and Planning
  • Professor Graham Virgo, Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Education

 

 

Subsequently, another video was produced that explores the news ways of working for the University community being experienced by a range of academic staff. This short film includes contributions from the following University employees:

  • Dr Emily Shuckburgh, Director of Cambridge Zero
  • Professor Tim Minshall, Head of the Institute for Manufacturing
  • Professor James Wood, Head of Veterinary Medicine
  • Dr Liz Hide, Director of the Sedgwick Museum
  • Dr Giles Yeo, Institute of Metabolic Science

 

 

Further videos will be produced and shared with staff in following Vice-Chancellor messages.
