Individual and team winners for this year’s UAS Employee Recognition Scheme were announced at an awards ceremony last week.

The scheme recognises outstanding work by members of the UAS over the calendar year. Citations were read by the Registrary, Dr Jonathan Nicholls, in the presence of Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Institutional Affairs Jeremy Sanders.
There were eight awards in total – one individual and one team against four UAS values. This year’s winners were:
For 'We deliver an effective and high-quality service':
• James Knapton, Information Compliance Officer, Registrary’s Office
• Compliance team, HR Division
For 'We collaborate and work in partnership':
• Ralph Ecclestone, Research Strategy Manager – Assessment, Impact and Business Relations, Academic Division
• Web Recruitment team (Cross-divisional project)
For 'We are open, responsive and innovative':
• Juergen Wastl, Head of Research Information, Academic Division
• Draftsman and Reporter Office
For 'We respect others and value diversity':
• Julian Jacobs, Departmental Administrator, Department of Zoology
• Finance Division Social Committee
