For staff

The University Staff Counselling Centre has installed an outdoor heater enabling face-to-face counselling through the winter months.

During the spring lockdown, the Staff Counselling Centre worked to adapt and provide their services via telephone and Zoom sessions. Zoom sessions were also made available from a confidential room within the Staff Counselling Centre in order to provide a safe and private space for those who may not have this available to them elsewhere.

With the installation of a heater in the courtyard of their Lensfield Road property, the Counselling Centre are now able to safely provide a limited number of face-to-face counselling sessions throughout the winter, in addition to the telephone and Zoom services.

The Centre welcomes all staff with a University contract regardless of background, age, job grade, colour, race, ethnicity, sex, sexuality, gender, religion, systems of belief or disability.

More information, including how to apply, can be found on the Staff Counselling Centre’s website.

Additionally, there is a range of other support services available to staff during this challenging time, many of which are listed on the University’s Wellbeing website.
