Applications are being accepted for housing in the University’s new community, Eddington, at the heart of the North West Cambridge.
As part of the first phase of North West Cambridge, 700 new homes will be available to rent as affordable, subsidized housing for eligible staff members of the University, Colleges and affiliated institutions from July 2017.
The accommodation consists of 1- and 2-bed fully-furnished flats built to a high level of sustainability based around the local centre, including the University’s primary school, which opened in September 2015, nursery, doctor’s surgery, supermarket and other retail outlets, alongside sports pitches and green space.
Eddington is a 10-15 minute cycle ride from the city centre and is well served by public transport, including the Universal bus which goes to the city centre, Railway Station and Addenbrooke’s Hospital.
Homes will be let from July 2017 on an on-going basis throughout Summer and Autumn 2017.
