Talks, mindfulness sessions and other activities during this year's Mental Health Awareness Week.

Complementing the wellbeing support, resources and virtual activities which have been provided by teams across the University, this year’s Mental Health Awareness Week will be marked by a programme of talks, mindfulness sessions and other activities. Staff can sign up to the sessions via the wellbeing webpages:

The theme for this year’s Mental Health Awareness Week is ‘kindness’, so please be kind to yourselves, and encourage colleagues to do the same, by taking some time to benefit from what’s on offer.

While it will not be possible for everyone to attend all these events, where possible the sessions will be recorded and posted on the wellbeing webpages to be accessed whenever is convenient.

Also, staff should keep an eye out for anything going on in their departments during Mental Health Awareness Week, and contact their HR Team or Departmental Wellbeing Advocate if they need any help accessing support services.
