For staff

The next UAS open meeting for University administrative staff will take place on Tuesday, 28 March.

The first half of the meeting – which takes place from 11.30am – 12.30pm in Lecture Room 3 of the Mill Lane Lecture Rooms - will be given over to a presentation by Emma Rampton, the Acting Registrary, on current developments within higher education, the University and UAS.

There will then be a panel discussion on how the University and Colleges – as well the wider HE sector – are responding to challenges relating to harassment and sexual/physical misconduct.

Members of the panel will include: Sarah d’Ambrumenil, Head of the Office of Student Conduct, Complaints and Appeals in the Academic Division; Dr Mark Wormald, member of Council and Fellow of Pembroke; Helena Blair, Schools Liaison Officer at Trinity Hall and former Cambridge student; and Dr Tom Almeroth-Williams, Communications Officer – Education and Access in the Office of External Affairs and Communications.

The discussion will be facilitated by Paul Mylrea, the University’s Director of Communications, and there will be an opportunity for audience members to ask questions. Questions can also be emailed to uasopenmeetings@admin.cam.ac.uk in advance of the meeting.
