Conference Cambridge, the University’s free venue finding service, would like to hear your thoughts on the services they provide.

In addition to helping Colleges and Institutions hire out their buildings to external businesses, the Conference Cambridge team regularly help University staff find venues for their own events. They are currently reviewing their services to ensure they meet the needs of all staff who organise events as part of their roles.

The team is running a survey to help them with their future planning and will donate 50p to Cancer Research UK for every completed survey.

Judith Sloane, Deputy Manager, said: “Staff input is vital and we are encouraging people to have a say on the future of the service by telling us exactly what they think.

“Staff are increasingly asking for services outside of our remit, such as event management, and their feedback will give us a broad picture of what support is needed when hosting conferences and events.”

The results of the survey will be shared with the Conference Cambridge Board of Directors, the University and the Bursars’ Committee. Respondents can hear what action is taken by leaving their contact details at the end of the survey.

 The survey will close on Thursday, 19th November.
