The new 'pop-up' facilities are open to staff, students and the public to create a range of digital content.
The West Hub's Digital Media Lab can be used to record high-quality videos and audio to deliver digital content to the highest production standard. The equipment can be used to record green-screen videos, podcasts or add voice-overs to presentation slides. Content creators of all levels can bring a brief and a script to the Lab and the Media Team will provide the equipment and the technical assistance to help produce high-end digital material.
Who can use the Digital Media Lab?
The service is open to all University staff and students as well as external businesses.
What are the costs?
This service is free of charge for University projects that take up to 1 hour and 30 minutes of studio and postproduction time (inclusive). Longer projects will be charged at £40 per hour thereafter. The charge for all commercial projects is £140 per hour.
