For staff

Christ's College artist in residence Issam Kourbaj's new exhibition focuses on the fragility of life in current-day Syria.

The exhibition will feature exclusive recent works, and will raise money for Syrian mothers and their families.
Excavating the Present will run from 22 March to 7 April at the 6/16 Gallery in King Street, Cambridge. It combines X-ray images of the human body, animals and aerial photographs of British landscapes, and will be opened by Mayor of Cambridge Sheila Stuart on 21 March. Writer and broadcaster Rana Kabbani will then speak about the Syrian revolution and women's role in it.
All proceeds from the exhibition will be donated to Oxfam's Syria Crisis Appeal.
