Cambridge's world-class research in archaeology was recognised twice at this year's Shanghai Archaeology Forum.
Professor Martin Jones received a research award while Senior Fellow of the McDonald Institute for Archaeological Research, Professor Colin Renfrew (Lord Renfrew of Kaimsthorn), was given a lifetime achievement award.
Professor Cyprian Broodbank, Disney Professor of Archaeology and Director of the McDonald Institute, said: "I warmly welcome this affirmation of Cambridge Archaeology's leading international role at a time when archaeology as a global field has never mattered more."
