For staff

This year’s annual University Staff Christmas Carol Service will take place on Tuesday 12 December at 3.30pm at Great St Mary’s, the University Church.

The service will feature traditional Christmas carols and readings for the season.

The Lucy Cavendish Singers, under the direction of Katharina Megli, will lead the seasonal music, and staff from different departments will read the lessons, along with the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Stephen Toope.

The service will be followed by a reception of holiday treats and mulled wine.

The University Church and our chaplaincy to University Staff looks forward to welcoming all, particularly members of staff, and their friends and family to this highlight of the University's festive celebrations.

Great St Mary's, The University Church, is at the north end of King's Parade, facing the University's Senate House and overlooking the Market Square. The University Church was the original ‘home’ of the University of Cambridge, which held congregations and University meetings there from 1209.  For more information about the University Church and its chaplaincy to University Staff, click here.
