Lisa Power MBE was the volunteer for the Lesbian and Gay Switchboard and Secretary General of the International Lesbian and Gay Association. Later, she co-founded the Pink Paper and Stonewall, and became Policy Director for the Terrence Higgins Trust.

Amongst other accolades she was the first openly LGBT person to speak at the United Nations.

Lisa will be talking about her history of activism, the barriers that queer people continue to face and the next steps to bringing about change.

The Lecture starts at 6pm, followed by a drinks reception from 7pm.
