The Graduate Union are hosting a panel discussion on postgraduate mental health with particular focus on funding and finances on Monday 12th November 2018, 5pm - 7pm, in the Old Library, Pembroke College. 

The panel will consist of: Dr Mark Wormald, Secretary to the Senior Tutors' Committee and Fellow at Pembroke College; Professor Loraine Gelsthorpe, Professor of Criminology and Fellow of Pembroke College; and Kerri Gardiner, Head of Graduate Student Administration. The panel will also include a postgraduate student.

Topics discussed will be the Student Support Initiative, the possible extension of the submission date for the PhD mirrored by a possible extension of postgraduate funding, and other funding challenges postgraduade students experience. There will also be feedback about financial support which postgraduates have found helpful to share tips and advice. The session will have a focus on practical steps which can be taken to minimise negative impacts on postgraduate mental health regarding funding and finances.

Staff are very welcome to attend. Food and drinks will be provided.
