The University and UCU will be holding an open meeting for staff who are members of USS on Friday 13 July at the Jean Thomas Lecture Theatre in the Sanger Building, Department of Biochemistry (80 Tennis Court Road, CB2 1GA). The meeting starts at 14:15 and will finish by 15:45 at the latest. All USS members in the University, Colleges and Cambridge Assessment are invited.
The open meeting will be an opportunity for staff to get an update on the current national situation, as the Joint Expert Panel meets over the summer and USS prepares to run a member consultation on cost-sharing. There will be plenty of time to ask questions.
Panellists taking part are Professor Richard Farndale, UCU pensions representative at the University, and Anthony Odgers, the University’s Chief Financial Officer.
