Come to the University of Cambridge Green Impact 2019 launch event to find out all you need to know about the latest developments in the University's move to a zero carbon future, highlights of action from last year's Green Impact initiative, and an overview of the opportunities for staff to get involved during the 2019/20 academic year.

The event will include:

  • A talk by Professor Ian Leslie, Senior Adviser to the Vice-Chancellor with special responsibility for Environmental Sustainability, on the University's new zero carbon emissions target and what it means for University departments.
  • A presentation on the University's Green Impact awards in 2019, formally launching the initiative for the new academic year, including highlights from last year, information on what's changed this year, and all the information new participants need to get involved.
  • Further information on the advice and support available to University staff and students in improving the environmental performance of their places of work and study.

After the event will be an opportunity for networking and to ask questions of the Environment & Energy Section. A light lunch and refreshments will be provided - please let us know if you have any special dietary requirements.
