For staff

Emma Stone, current Director of HR, is stepping down in February after almost 30 years of working at the University.

Emma (pictured left) has accepted a new role as Vice-President, Human Resources and Organisational Development at a young and ambitious univeristy in the Middle East. Emma’s last day in Cambridge will be Friday 14 February 2020.

Andi Hudson (pictured right) will become Acting Director of Human Resources while the University recruits to the permanent position. Andi has been the Assistant Director of HR (Operations) since 2016, prior to which she was the HR Business Manager for the School of the Physical Sciences. As Andi will be covering the full range of duties of the Directorship, arrangements will be made in the New Year to backfill her substantive position.

At this stage, it is anticipated that the interim arrangements will be in place until the end of 2020 to give the University sufficient time to recruit to the permanent role.
